45 Years Ago: Great radio pic of DJ Tommy Jett

My friend Steve Hill uncovered some Polaroid pictures a few days ago, and came across three great shots of WFLI deejay Tommy Jett, who ruled the airwaves among Chattanooga teens and young adults in the 1960s.  This photo was taken in November 1967, while TJ the DJ was promoting the Winter WFLI Spectacular, which starred Neil Diamond that year.  You could see about a half-dozen chart-topping acts for three bucks at Memorial Auditorium.  Tommy was at the peak of his fast-talking, movin’ and groovin’ style, looking cooler than cool in those shades.  Hey now!  More photos of TJ from Steve, and other classic Chattanooga radio/TV pics in my Facebook albums
