Here are a few of my favorite “TJ the DJ” pics:

I never saw him without the rings.

TJ at Tenn. Radio Hall of Fame with Chickamauga Charlie, a great friend.

TJ with James Rogers, at one of the many charity events he hosted.

With longtime buddy Max “O’Brian” Templeton, in a picture I called “TJ Max.”

Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits with TJ at a 1967 Jet-FLI Spectacular

Two of the alltime greats: Wolfman Jack & Tommy Jett

He was very proud of the street named after him in Walker Co. GA.

Tommy was so honored that Luther inducted him into Tenn. Radio Hall of Fame

Tommy and his wife Charlene, who cared for him until the end.

Dale Anthony and Tommy Jett, the two “drive_time” FLI jocks of the 60s, sharing a laugh.

  1. Creed Crowder

Around these parts Tommy Jett made “Hey Now” as well known as actor Matthew McConaughey’s “Awright, awright, awright.” Tommy was not just a “radio announcer” or “disc jockey,” he was a true “showman and entertainer.” RIP.
